Humanities 

Humanities at Tarneit P-9 College gives secondary students the opportunity to delve deep into key Humanities subjects such as History, Civics and Citizenship, Business and Economics and Geography. Throughout their Humanities studies, students will learn key knowledge and skills including (but not limited to):

– Understanding different interpretations of data and how to utilise primary sources

– How to create links between the past and modern worlds and the events that have contributed to this

– Exploring systems that shape current society such as legal justice systems and economic markets

– Understanding interconnections between culture, society and the natural environment

Humanities allows students to develop their emerging ideas of their place in society and how to become active citizens in the 21st century.
