English

English at Tarneit P-9 College helps create confident communicators, imaginative thinkers and informed learners. Students engage in rich tasks that are carefully designed and differentiated by our teachers to build essential skills to speak, read and write in a wide range of contexts. Students have the opportunity to analyse, understand, communicate and build relationships with others, developing their knowledge needed to become successful individuals.

English across P-9 is divided into subject areas, specifically aligned with the Victorian Curriculum and supports students with the transitions from primary to secondary.
